THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan alleged that a give and take drama was taking place between the government and the governor. Satheesan, who said that there were intermediaries to resolve the issue between the governor and the government, added that the drama enacted by the two sides today underscored that what the Opposition had said earlier was true.
"The governor and the government enacted a drama today to make it appear as if there were no deals between the two. The drama was part of an agreement reached between the governor and the chief minister with the knowledge of the BJP central leadership. The governor is acting as the spokesperson of the BJP in Thiruvananthapuram. The governor is controlled by the BJP central leadership. The governor is now doing the job of repeating what the Sangh Parivar says. The state government wrote to the governor against the appointment of Hari S Kartha as governor's additional PA only after the UDF questioned the appointment. However, the government is now in a position to remove the Secretary of Public Administration who wrote that letter," Satheesan said.
Satheesan alleged that both the governor and the government were playing unnecessary drama and were trying to deceive the people by pretending that they were in conflict.
