KOCHI: The single bench came to the fore against the government on Silver Line. When the court seeks details of the project, the government is moving the court. Justice Devan Ramachandran accused the government for hiding facts.

The single bench raised the criticism while considering the plea to examine the complaints after appointing an expert panel under the supervision of the court. The single bench indirectly criticized the government's move to appeal in the division bench.

The court is not in any way against the Silver Line project. This is a project that connects people. Instead of disclosing the details, the government is going for an appeal. He said the court is intervening because it is a matter affecting the people.

The division bench had today orally mentioned in the appeal filed by the government that the second order of the single bench which had blocked the Silver Line survey, would also be quashed. The Advocate General also expressed dissatisfaction with the order of the Single Bench in the case pending before the division bench.
