THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC President K Sudhakaran has announced that Congress will organize a strong agitation against the SilverLine project. Sudhakaran said that the agitation would be organized on the model of the farmers' agitation. "Let the survey continue. However, we will not allow the authorities to lay stones," Sudhakaran said.

Sudhakaran also said that those who live on both sides of the K-Rail line will face more problems than those who lose their land. Thousands of public meetings will be held to convince the people of its serious impact.

"We will organise seminars to create awareness among the people. Eminent environmental activists and socio-cultural activists, including E Sreedharan, will attend the seminars," he said.
