THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Five years after the actress got assaulted, the Women in Cinema Collective, the women's association in Malayala cinema, has come up with a note questioning the government and the public in general. In a note shared on social media, WCC asked what the government and the film industry have done over the past five years.

"In February 2017, the survivor officially registered about the sexual assault and kidnapping incident. In five years, what have the government and the film industry done to ensure that such an incident does not happen again?", WCC asked in a post on social media.

In its note, WCC further asked what each of us have done to ensure the safety of all.
