THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader K Muraleedharan demanded a CBI probe on the death of Twenty20 activist Deepu in Kizhakkambalam. Repaying with interest for the victory of the LDF and accused the ruling party of not even having the right to strike against the MLA. Muraleedharan also scoffed that K Surendran will be out of work when the governor speaks about politics.

Muraleedharan also criticized the appointment of Hari S Kartha to the governor's staff. Hari S Kartha is a BJP leader and the government should not have approved his appointment. There had been no political appointment in the Raj Bhavan before this. Hari S Kartha, a former BJP state committee member, was appointed as additional PA to the Governor. The Congress has used the appointment of a BJP leader in the governor's staff as a political weapon.

Muraleedharan also mocked the governor for not being able to do anything in the pension dispute. The pension was brought by the UDF. It is not wrong to give pension. However, Muraleedharan said that if the governor is not restricted, Pinarayi will become a chief minister holding umbrella for the RSS. He also asked what would happen if he saw a leopard if he is scared of a cat.
