PALAKKAD: The youth commission collected evidence in connection with the incident where two youths were killed after a KSRTC bus hit them at Vellapara in Kuzhalmandam. They went to the house of Adarsh, who died in the accident, and took statements from his relatives. Advocate T Mahesh, a member of the commission, said that it is clear from the examination of the footage that the accident was caused by a lapse on the part of the driver.

The Youth Commission had taken suo moto cognizance in the incident. After the statement of the relatives, T Mahesh said that the investigation team has been directed to check the fall on the part of the driver. The father of the deceased Adarsh ​​said that there was a failure at the beginning of the probe but now he hopes that justice will be served. Meanwhile, the investigation team is trying to record the statements of more eyewitnesses.
