LUCKNOW: The Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh is in the final phase. Three of the seven phases of the election have been completed. The campaigns are getting stronger in the last phase of elections. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is trying hard to maintain the BJP in power.
Yogi said in a recent media interview that other parties were competing for the second position and he was not even worried about his own seat in Khorakpur. He is an ordinary BJP activist who fulfills the missions given by the party. Asked if he wanted to be the next Prime Minister, Yogi said that he was never interested in any titular positions.
Yogi said during a campaign rally that after the third phase of polls, BJP would get votes to seize the bail pleas of the SP, BSP and Congress . In the past, even electricity was politicized. There will be electricity on Eid and Muharram but not on Holi and Diwali, he said. Farmers in the country will support the BJP in view of the numerous benefits provided to them by the government. Yogi added that they have the support of 80 per cent of the voters and the other parties are fighting for the remaining 20 per cent voters.
