ALAPPUZHA: During the 2021 assembly election period, CPM had witnessed severe infighting in Kayamkulam and Ambalapuzha constituencies in the Alappuzha district due to factionalism. Now, U Prathibha MLA has come out with another revelation about the Kayamkulam elections and the factionalism in the party. She made this revelation through her Facebook page.

The MLA, who said that she had been an unpopular candidate for many leaders during the election, added that she did not believe that the party means a few leaders. She also stated that a journalist, who tried to defeat her deliberately, had reached a high position. 'Some leaders who conspired against me in the party are enjoying unanimous support. The time is not far when these leaders will be in the trash,' Prathibha added.
