THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has given reply to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s controversial statement, at the state assembly as well. It is not right for a chief minister to compare the two states. What Yogi said is not right, said Pinarayi. The chief minister had earlier replied to Yogi via Twitter.
Yogi had earlier stated that if the voters make a mistake, then Uttar Pradesh will become Kerala. The statement was made prior to the first phase of polls in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi had said that many great things happened in these five years and if you make a mistake, five years of hard work will be ruined and if that happens, it will not take long for Uttar Pradesh to become Kerala, Kashmir or Bengal; the extremists are waiting for an opportunity. The statement was made through a video shared on Uttar Pradesh BJP’s official Twitter account.
