College of Engineering Trivandrum Alumni Association (CETAA) is planning a prestigious and “one-of-a-kind event” by organizing a Guinness World Record Musical Event “Swaralahari” on February 26th Saturday 2022. This will be an Online Musical Event which will portray CET alumni from batches spread over a span of 50+years, ranging from 1955 to 2021 batches, from different parts of the world, in an Online Relay Singing Event.

The Event will be inaugurated by the versatile Musician M Jayachandran on 26th February 2022 at 6.30 pm in a function arranged at the Galaxy Hall, the Residency Towers, Press Road, Trivandrum.

College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) established in 1939, is one of the oldest and premier engineering institutions in India. CET is the first Engineering College in the state of Kerala (Erstwhile State of Travancore).

College of Engineering Trivandrum Alumni Association (CETAA) was initiated in the year of 1976 and is a closely knit family of around 50000 members. CETAA is having different Chapters, spread around all parts of the Globe, affiliated to the parent body. The Chapters are at Atlanta, Australia, Bahrain, Bangalore, California, Canada, Chennai, Delhi, Germany, Kochi, Kozhikode, Kuwait, Mid-West USA, Mumbai, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, Trissur, Trivandrum, UAE, UK, and Washington DC. Many of the members are highly acclaimed professionals holding senior technical and management positions globally.

CETAA has played a major role in supporting and strengthening CET. Contribution of CETAA for various infrastructural development activities of the Alma mater is commendable. CETAA organizes social, educational, recreational, and family events regularly to remain as a vibrant association. It also endeavors to inculcate a feeling of oneness and traditional values amongst its members, partners and upcoming generation.

Dr. Jiji C V is the president of CETAA and the Chairman of GWR Organizing Committee, Premachandra Bhas E R is the Vice Chairman & Convenor, GWR Organizing Committee and Dr Jayasree P K is the secretary of CETAA.
