THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has decided to withdraw the existing Covid restrictions in the state as the spread of Covid has decreased. The covid situation will be monitored under the supervision of the Chief Secretary and issues will be ordered.
Covid Review Meeting will be convened only in special circumstances. However, the practice of the wearing of masks and social isolation must be strictly followed. The category distinction A, B and C based on the number of patients being treated has been discontinued.
The government has allowed a maximum of 50 people in category A for weddings and funeral ceremonies and 1500 people in public places. Admission to hotels and theatres were limited to half. All these restrictions would be brought to normal.
