THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that the K-Rail project will not be implemented by pressurizing anyone. Kodiyeri was speaking after the release of the book 'Enthukondu K-Rail' (Why K-Rail) written by former minister Dr. TM Thomas Isaac. He said that the government was ready for a dialogue with those who opposed the plan and that the destructive move of the Opposition should be rectified.

"No one will have to shed tears. The LDF government will not implement the project by pressurizing anyone. The LDF is committed to eco-friendly development. K-Rail is also envisioned in this way," Kodiyeri said.

"Both K Sudhakaran and I worked together on the Kannur airport issue. Sudhakaran should take a similar stand in the K-Rail project as well," Kodiyeri added.
