NEW DELHI: Many Malayalees including students have been trapped in Ukraine. Reports said that NORKA does not have an accurate count of how many people are trapped. 200 Malayalee students of Odesa University are being trapped.

India's rescue mission to bring home those stranded in Ukraine has stalled. The evacuation was halted after the airports were closed. With this, the Air India sent by India has returned to Delhi. National Security Adviser Ajit Doval met Prime Minister Narendra Modi after war broke out in Ukraine.

The centre said Russia-Ukraine war is heading to a dangerous situation. The United Nations should intervene to resolve the issue peacefully. India responded that peace in the region would be shattered if not handled carefully. Meantime, Russia continues attack by sea and land.
