NEW DELHI: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Russia, on Thursday, seeking assistance for a gas pipeline project and basic infrastructure development. Meantime, Russia has begun its Ukraine invasion. Russian President Vladimir Putin or Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin were not present to welcome the Pakistan prime minister. Instead, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Igor Morgulov and his team welcomed him. This is a huge embarrassment for Pakistan, yet Imran Khan is continuing his visit.

‘If Imran Khan has any self-respect, he will do what Vajpayee Sahib did when China attacked Vietnam during his 1979 visit: he should cancel his trip immediately and go home. Otherwise, he is complicit in the invasion’, criticized Congress MP Shashi Tharoor through a social media post.
