PALAKKAD: IN a suspected suicide pact, four persons of a family jumped into a river at Lakkidi in Palakkad. The bodies of three have been recovered. Search is on for the fourth person. The dead has been identified as Ajith of Koottupatha, his wife Biji and daughter Paru.

Ajith's another daughter Ashwananda also jumped into the river, but she could not be found. Ajith is accused in the murder case of his uncle in 2012. The trial in the case is going on. The suicide note recovered mentioned that they are taking this drastic step due to the mental pain over it.
