MOSCOW: Russia is reportedly preparing for a nuclear war amid talks to end the war against Ukraine. Russian media have reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the deployment of nuclear weapon against Ukraine. Russia Today reports that Putin has given orders to military leaders in this regard.

Ukraine has officially confirmed its readiness to hold peace talks with Putin following his nuclear threat. Ukrainian delegates went to Belarus for talks.

Earlier, it was reported that Russia had offered to hold talks in Belarus, but no official confirmation had been received. Belarus has assured that no military action will be taken during the talk. Belarus said the situation would continue, including military aircraft and missiles. Following this, Ukraine announced its readiness for talks.
