KYIV: 352 people were killed in the Russian attacks including 14 children, claimed the Ukraine health ministry. The attacks in Ukraine are continuing for the fifth day in a row. As of now, 1684 people have been wounded.

The Russian troops have completely surrounded the capital city Kyiv. A bomb blast was also heard near to the city’s airport. “All ways are blocked and right now we are encircled — everywhere is Russians and we don’t have a way to evacuate the people”, said the Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

The situation is such that we are unable to provide food and water to the people, said the authorities. Russia has lost 4300 soldiers, 146 tanks, 27 planes and 26 helicopters, said Ukraine Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar.

European Union’s war aid for Ukraine

The European Union (EU) will provide war planes to Ukraine. EU has banned Russian airlines from its airspace. FIFA has announced that it will not be hosting international matches in Russia. Meantime, the Russia-Ukraine talks will be held in Belarus.
