THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth accused of attacking a couple at Thiruvallam, died here Monday. He has been identified as Suresh Kumar, an accused for attacking a couple. He was taken to the hospital after he suffered a chest pain, but his life could not be saved.

Five were taken into custody the other day on the complaint of attacking a couple and extorting money from them in Thiruvallam. Suresh Kumar died this morning at 10.30 am. Soon after taking them into custody, they were subjected to a medical examination.

No major problems were found in it. Suresh Kumar said that he has a chest pain while he was being remanded in the morning. Though he was rushed to a nearby hospital, his life could not be saved.
