KAVARATTI: BJP national vice-president AP Abdullakutty shared the joy of setting up a petrol pump in Lakshadweep for the first time. He shared the good news of the opening of Indian Oil Company depot and pump in Kavaratti on Tuesday, via his Facebook post.

Abdullakutty said that the people of the island would get petrol and diesel with a discount of Rs 3 than what is available in Kerala and congratulated the Central Government for this. He said that the islanders only have to pay below 100 rupees per litre for petrol and diesel instead of Rs 130.
