The world is in a state of panic ever since the beginning of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. The central government is striving hard to rescue its citizens stranded in Ukraine. Most of the people in Ukraine, including foreign nationals, have sought refuge in bunkers due to the threat of war. Bunkers are the safest place to seek refuge in the event of a war in a country.
Bunkers are built to withstand even nuclear radiation. Only electricity will be available here. However, people seeking refuge in bunkers need to rely on buildings near bunkers for food and other basic necessities. Nearly fifty people can stay in one bunker. It is usually built at a depth of about ten feet.
India constructed over ten thousand bunkers
India is a country that is always under threat of cross-border encroachment by China and Pakistan. That is why the Central Government has built over ten thousand bunkers for the safety of our citizens living near the border. Most of these bunkers are built in villages such as Kathua, Samba, Poonch and Rajouri near the Line of Control in Jammu.
Our bunkers are capable of withstanding any kind of shelling from neighboring countries. Each bunker can accommodate 20 to 30 people at a time.
