KYIV: Ukraine's President Zelenskyy has said that the international alliance would be stronger if they were included in the European Union. Zelenskyy's response comes a day after he applied to join the European Union. "This is the time when Ukraine needs help from European Union, and if it does not do so now, Ukraine will be isolated forever," Zelenskyy said. "It is time to prove that you are with Ukraine".

Meanwhile, there are reports that three countries in the European Union have decided to supply 70 fighter jets to Ukraine. Bulgaria, Poland and Slovakia have agreed to supply the MiG-29 and SU-25 aircraft. Of these, Bulgaria will supply 16 MiG-29 fighter jets and 14 SU-25 fighter jets. Poland and Slovakia will supply 28 and 12 MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, respectively.

In addition to fighter jets, the European Union has decided to provide financial assistance to Ukraine for arms purchases. "I consider Ukraine as one among us," said Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission. By including Ukraine, member states can legally send troops to Ukraine for security purposes.

European countries such as Finland, Norway and Italy have also agreed to provide military assistance to the Ukrainian government.
