MUMBAI: A special investigation team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has said that no evidence has been found against Aryan Khan in the drugs-on-cruise case.

The SIT stated that there is no evidence that Aryan Khan was part of a larger drugs conspiracy or an international drug trafficking syndicate. The team also revealed some irregularities and alleged that the raid led by Mumbai Zonal Unit director Sameer Wankhede, did not follow proper procedure. The cruise raid was not video-recorded. Drugs were not recovered. There was no need to seize Aryan’s phone. The chats did not suggest that Khan was part of any international drug syndicate. The investigation team will submit its final report within two months, said the NCB.

Aryan Khan was jailed for a month in the case. Khan, along with his two friends, were arrested in the Mumbai cruise drugs case, on October 3, 2021. The NCB had caught 20 people in connection with the case.
