VIZHINJAM: The world was thrown into dismay following the news of the Ukraine-Russia war. In the southern part of India, in Thiruvananthapuram's Kovalam, a temple has been holding pujas (offering) for four days in a row at Kovalam Sri Krishnaswamy Temple, hoping for divine intervention that could bring an end to the war. The rituals are held under the leadership of Ratheesh, who is a priest at the temple. The puja which started on the 26th of last month was also held yesterday. Ratheesh himself offered the puja at the temple and spread the word about it through social media. The pic of the pooja receipt also invited trolls on social media. Ratheesh said the pooja would be continued until peace talks between Russia and Ukraine reach a breakthrough.
