NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will again hold discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the Ukraine issue. It is learnt that a telephone conversation will be held between the two leaders tonight. Prime Minister is resuming talks after an Indian student was killed in a shelling attack in Ukraine.
Modi may seek Putin's help in repatriating Indian students stranded in Ukraine. He had earlier spoken to Putin and had demanded that the Ukraine issue be resolved at the diplomatic level.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that 17,000 Indians had left Ukraine. Fifteen planes are scheduled for the rescue mission in the next 24 hours. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, 3,352 people have returned to India in the last 24 hours
