NEW DELHI: Another 154 Malayalee students have returned to the country from Ukraine. Since the launch of 'Operation Ganga', a total of 398 Malayalee students have returned home. The state government had today arranged a special chartered flight to speed up the journey of the students to Kerala as more students arrive as the rescue mission progresses. Of these, 170 students will arrive at Kochi Airport at 8.20 pm on March 2. The passengers of this flight include 36 students, who reached Delhi on Tuesday night, and 134 students, who arrived this morning. Special buses have been arranged from Nedumbassery airport to Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram under the leadership of NORKA to take students home.

Of those who arrived in Delhi, seven were sent to Kochi on an Indigo flight at 6.55 pm and two were sent to Kannur on an Indigo flight at 6.55 pm. Five students will fly to Thiruvananthapuram on an Air Asia flight at 8.10 pm, while another five will fly on an Indigo flight at 10.45 pm. So far, a total of 395 students have returned back to Kerala.

Four more flights, including an Indian Air Force flight from Bucharest, are arriving in Delhi today. Tomorrow, eight flights will be operated from Poland, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia to Delhi and Mumbai.
