CHANGANASSERY: Two persons were killed and two others were injured after a car collided with a lorry in Muvattupuzha. The deceased have been identified as Changanassery native Shyamala (60) and car driver Thrikkodithanam native Muhammad Ismail (25). The accident took place on MC Road at East Marady at around 3.15 am.

The car which carried Shyamala was returning from Nedumbassery airport when it collided with a lorry that came from the opposite direction. Shyamala's husband Damodaran and her brother TP Anilkumar sustained injuries. They are undergoing treatment at Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
