KYIV: Second round of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine will be held today. The talks will be held on the border of Poland-Belarus. Russia said ceasefire is also a topic of discussion. There were Russian attacks in Kyiv and Kharkiv at night. Ukraine said three civilians were killed. The attack on Izmail also caused heavy casualties. Russia has warned that attacks on Kyiv and Kharkiv will continue.

Russia has confirmed that 498 of their soldiers were killed during the invasion of Ukraine. 1597 people have been injured. Russia may declare martial law. Ukraine has claimed to have killed 9,000 Russian soldiers in one week. 227 civilians have been killed in Ukraine, informed the UN.

Meantime, UN passed a resolution calling for end to military action in Ukraine. The resolution was supported by 141 countries. Thirty-five countries including India abstained from the voting. Five countries voted against it. Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Syria and Eritrea voted against.
