THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 2222 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Among these, 2093 persons developed the disease through contact, including 94 cases without an identified source of infection. 10 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 25 health workers contracted the disease on Wednesday.

4673 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 19,051 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 3 deaths due to the virus on Wednesday with the toll rising to 65,758.

Thiruvananthapuram 432, Ernakulam 354, Kottayam 213, Kollam 197, Kozhikode 177, Thrissur 126, Idukki 118, Alappuzha 114, Malappuram 102, Pathanamthitta 100, Wayanad 89, Kannur 85, Palakkad 70 and Kasaragod 45.
