KYIW: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia will have to pay a heavy price for invading Ukraine. He also said that he would work for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war. Zelenskyy's remarks in a video message come hours after the Russian forces took control of the Ukrainian city of Kherson.

In his video message, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had nothing to lose except freedom. He added that the country was receiving weapons from the allies every day. Zelenskyy said that the infrastructure, streets and houses of Ukraine, which were destroyed by the Russian forces, would be restored.

Meanwhile, the second round of talks between Russia and Ukraine will take place today in Brest on the Belarus - Poland border.
