THRISSUR: A youth was stabbed to death in the district early Friday morning. The dead has been identified as Firoz (40) of Kecheri in Thrissur. The miscreants barged into his rented quarters with deadly weapons and stabbed him on his stomach.

Though he was rushed to Thrissur Medical College Hospital, his life could not be saved. The Kunnamkulam police reached the spot and an investigation has started. Police said a two-member team is behind the attack. Firoz was an employee of a fish market. He is an accused in a fraud case.
