PESHAWAR: At least 30 people have been killed in a suicide attack on a mosque in Pakistan. The blast occurred in front of a mosque in the Qissa Khawani bazaar area of ​​Peshawar during Friday's prayer time.

The bomber started firing at the police officers standing guard in front of the mosque before entering the mosque to blew himself. One policeman was reportedly killed and at least one was injured.

The manager of Lady Reading Hospital said the bodies of 30 people who died in the bombing were brought to the hospital. Fifty-six people are seriously injured. According to Pakistani media reports, no group has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
