THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A special mission will be started from tomorrow for those who could not get regular immunizations in the Covid situation. The mission will be held in three rounds of seven days each in March, April and May. The mission is part of the National Immunization Program to provide vaccination to children and pregnant women who have missed partial or complete immunization during the Covid period.

It can be used by those who have not been vaccinated against BCG, OPV, IPV, Pentavalent, Rotavirus, MR, DPT and TD. The drive will be held in 9 districts namely Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur.
