BUDAPEST: The Indian embassy in Hungary has announced that Operation Ganga, a central government project to repatriate Indians stranded in Ukraine, is nearing completion. The embassy also directed that the remaining students to arrive at the Hungarian city center in Budapest. The Indian Embassy in Kyiv also advised the remaining students in Ukraine to register their information with Operation Ganga as soon as possible.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Baghchi has said 13,300 students had returned to India on 63 flights as part of Operation Ganga. The ministry said 15 flights had been operated in the last 24 hours and 2900 Indians had been repatriated.
