MOSCOW: During a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine should stop fighting in order for Russia to halt its military operations. Putin also said that Ukraine should accept Russia's demands.

He added that Russia's military action is going according to plan and hoped that Ukraine would actively engage in negotiations.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has accused Russia of launching a missile attack on the city of Vinnytsia. As per Ukraine, says eight missiles have hit the city. Zelensky has called for the immediate imposition of a no-fly zone over Ukraine.
