KOCHI: Arrested tattoo artist PS Sujeesh has said that his rivals are behind the allegations of sexual harassment against him. He reiterated during questioning that the allegations are baseless and he has nothing to do with the case. He said that his growth was within a year and this has made many jealous. Sujeesh said that the complaints are attempts to destroy him. But police said there is strong evidence against Sujeesh and that he is trying to hide many things.

Sujeesh surrendered to the police on Saturday night. He was taken to his tattoo studio 'Inkfected' in Cheranelloor on Sunday morning. It was here that two women were abused. The other four girls were sexually assaulted while the establishment was in Palarivattom. Evidence was collected by Cheranelloor SHO led by Kochi City DCP VU Kuriakos. The arrest was recorded at 11 a.m. after a few hours of evidence collection. He was later produced in court and remanded. Two cases were registered against Sujeesh at Cheranelloor station and four at Palarivattom station. It is learned that he may be taken into custody together for questioning in six cases.

Recently, an 18-year-old revealed on social media that Sujeesh had misbehaved and sexually abused her while she was getting a tattoo. Later, six other women approached the police, revealing a similar experience. A DVR, hard disks and tattoo guns seized by the police from the studio have been sent for testing.
