MALAPPURAM: Muslim League leader and former minister P K Abdu Rabb collapsed while paying homage to Muslim League state chief Panakkad Hyderali Shihab Thangal, who passed away on Sunday. He was immediately rushed to MIMS Hospital in Kottakkal.

Thangal was laid to rest at Panakkad Juma Masjid Monday morning at 2.30 am. Thousands thronged to pay homage to the departed soul. As a heavy crowd was witnessed, public homage was ended at 12.30 and he was laid to rest earlier.
