NEW DELHI: The Election Commission (EC) has announced the Rajya Sabha election dates in six states including Kerala. Elections will be held for three seats in the state. The voting and counting of votes will be held on March 31. The election has to be held as the tenures of A K Antony, K Somaprasad and M V Shreyams Kumar end on April 2.

The election notification will be released on March 14. Candidates can submit their nominations till March 21. The voting will be held from 9 am till 4 pm on March 31. The votes will be counted and results will be announced by around 5 pm.
