MUMBAI: It has become clear that renowned sports journalist Boria Majumdar was the journalist who allegedly threatened Indian cricketer Wriddhiman Saha. It was Boria himself who came out on Twitter identifying himself as the one accused by Saha. Boria also alleged that Saha had doctored and tampered the screenshots of his WhatsApp chats to tarnish his reputation.
'There are always two sides to a story. @Wriddhipops has doctored, tampered screenshots of my WhatsApp chats which have damaged my reputation and credibility. I have requested the @BCCI for a fair hearing. My lawyers are serving @Wriddhipops a defamation notice. Let truth prevail,' Boria wrote on Twitter.
