NOIDA: Exit polls predict second straight term for Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh. Exit poll results were released as the final phase of the seven-phase Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls became completed after 6pm on Monday. Exit poll results have been released by various national media outlets and agencies.
According to the Republic TV-PMarkarq survey, the BJP will get up to 240 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party is expected to get 140 seats and the BSP 17 seats, while the Congress is expected to get only 4 seats. BJP will get 211 to 225 seats in the News X poll. Samajwadi Party will get 146 to 160 seats. Congress will get 4 to 6 seats and BSP will get 14 to 24 seats, the survey stated.
According to the Pollstrat exit polls, BJP will win 211/225 seats. SP-146/160, BSP-14/24 and Congress-4/6 are predicted seats for other parties. In the Matrize exit polls, BJP 262/277, SP 140 and BSP 17. are the expected seats. BJP in Jan ki Baat survey predicted seats are for BJP 222 - 260,SP 135 -165, BSP 04-09, Congress 01-03.
In Goa, meanwhile, exit poll predicts an in-fighting between the Congress and the BJP. The ruling BJP and the Congress are expected to win 13 to 17 seats as per Republic TV Exit Poll, while the Trinamool Congress is predicted to win four and the others two seats, while Times Now Veto poll predicts a win for Congress. The Times Now predicted that only 14 seats would be won. As per Times Now, Congress will get 16 seats and BJP 14 seats.
The Times Now predicts four seats for the Aam Aadmi Party in Goa. India Today Axis My India survey predicts clear dominance for the Congress. The BJP is expected to win 14 to 18 seats, while the Congress is expected to win 15-20 seats.
