KOCHI: Dasan, a former employee, has given statement against actor Dileep in the case conspired to endanger the investigating officials in the actress attack case. The lawyer had forbidden me from talking to the police about anything pertaining to director Balachandra Kumar’s revelations. I was asked to say either ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I don’t remember’ to the investigation officials’ questions, Dasan said in his statement.

Balachandra Kumar used to come to Dileep’s house regularly. He told me that he was the director of Dileep’s new movie. Soon after Balachandra Kumar’s revelations, Dileep’s brother Anoop and his brother-in-law Sooraj, had called me asking whether I had told anything to Balachandra Kumar. I told them that I did not tell him anything.

Subsequently, Anoop and Sooraj took me to Dileep’s lawyer Raman Pillai’s office. The lawyer then asked me to give a police statement saying that I did not tell anything to Balachandra Kumar, alleged the former employee.

Dasan’s statement also mentions that he had heard Sooraj saying, ‘let Pulsar Suni, the accused in the case, come out. I will show him’. Dasan, a native of Cherthala, was an employee at Dileep’s house from 2017 till 2020.
