SRINAGAR: A person was killed and 14 others were injured in a blast near the district court in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district. The injured persons were admitted to the district hospital.

The blast took place at Slathia Chowk near the tehsildar's office in Udhampur at around 1 pm.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced on Twitter that 13 people were injured in the accident. He also said that he was in constant touch with District Collector Indu Chib to find out the developments.
