DUBAI: Ravindra Jadeja has been ranked number one in the ICC Test All Rounder Rankings, beating West Indies' Jason Holder and India's Ravichandran Ashwin.
His achievement comes following his performance in India's recent Test win against Sri Lanka. He was the top scorer in the Mohali Test as he went on to score an unbeaten 175 and also took nine wickets. This is the highest score Jadeja has ever scored in a Test. This is the second time after August 2017 that Jadeja has topped the list of all-rounders.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has improved two places to fifth in the list of Test batsmen. Rishabh, who scored 96 in the Mohali Test, also made it to the top ten in the rankings. Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who struggled to find runs in the last match, was dropped to sixth. Australia's Marnus Labuschagne is still the number one batsman in the Test rankings. The bowler rankings remain unchanged with Australia's Pat Cummins at first. India's Ravichandran Ashwin is second on the list. Kagiso Rabada of South Africa is third. Australia remains top of the Test team rankings with 119 points. India is just behind with 116 points.
