THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Justice MR Hariharan Nair Commission has recommended that those in economically weaker sections in the forward communities should be given relaxation in marks in the Teacher Qualification Examinations up to the higher secondary level. It also recommended a scholarship of Rs 3,000 for high school students. Although the report came up for consideration in the cabinet meeting yesterday, the government kept it aside to take a decision after examining the financial liabilities required for these needs.
