THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Though the budget is amidst severe financial crisis, the finance minister announced help for arts, including cinema. In addition to announcing financial assistance to the film academy, the budget also provides help for the development of film in the state. Along with this, help has been offered to Kerala's own art form Kathakali.
