NEW DELHI: A Malayali ISIS terrorist was killed in a suicide attack in Afghanistan, a report said. It was the 'Voice of Khurasan,' the mouthpiece of the Khurasan terrorist organization, that announced this. The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Najeeb, an MTech student. Voice of Khurasan has also released Najeeb's picture.
However, the report did not say when he was killed. According to the Voice of Khurasan, Najeeb went to Afghanistan from Kerala of his own free will and took part in the suicide attack after getting married to a Pakistani woman.
There was an attack on ISIS terrorists on the day of Najeeb's wedding. Najeeb then decided to withdraw from the marriage, but the marriage took place at the insistence of the girl's father. Following the marriage, Najeeb took part in the suicide attack, Voice of Khurasan said.
