BENGALURU: India's batting line-up collapsed in front of Srilankan spin bowling on the first day of the India-Sri Lanka Pink Ball Test. India won the toss and elected to bat, but suffered a setback in the beginning itself. Mayank Agarwal got out with a team score of 10. Captain Rohit Sharma (15), who was playing cautiously, was soon got out. Then the former captain Kohli and Hanuma Vihari started moving the Indian scoreboard slowly.
But Vihari (31) was out before the partnership reached 50. Kohli (23) then returned to the pavilion after adding 10 runs to the team's score . Later, Jadeja and Pant played well together, but Pant (39) and then Jadeja (4) soon went out. Ashwin's resistance (13) also lasted for a while. Akshar Patel (9) and Shami (5) returned quickly.
