KOZHIKODE: Flex boards have appeared in various parts of Kozhikode city demanding the expulsion of K C Venugopal in order to save the Congress. The flex boards were spotted at the railway station, Palayam subway and Mananchira.

The flex boards set up in the name of Congress fellowship has ‘Expel KC Venugopal, Save Congress’ written on it. The boards written in English and Malayalam were placed after 10:30 pm on Saturday.

Earlier, similar boards had appeared in Kannur as well. K C Venugopal, the party’s chief functionary, has been criticized from various quarters for the Congress’ defeat in the recent assembly polls in five states including Uttar Pradesh. The flex boards had appeared in the city following the defeat.
