THRISSUR: A youth attempted suicide after his wife left him. The incident happened at Ollur railway station. The youth was found lying on the track. He escaped after the station master noticed it.

The youth from Thalassery attempted suicide. The youth, a lorry driver, reached Ollur to unload cement. He attempted suicide in an inebriated condition. After seeing him lying on the railway track, the station master informed the police.

The police reached the spot immediately. They pacified him and took him to the police station. They summoned the lorry owner and sent the youth with him.
