Navya Nair is all set to make a comeback in Malayalam cinema after a long interval. She had earlier stated that she is with the actress attacked. Although they have acted together in many films, Navya has now openly said that questions about Dileep could be difficult for her. She opened her mind in an interview to a leading media.
‘Questions about Dileep could be difficult. She said that she has asserted about it earlier. Many things go relatively well. As the case is in the court, she said she don’t want to speak authoritatively about it and make things worse. My colleague suffered a lot. Always with her and there is no change in it.’
Navya also spoke about not being active in Women in Cinema Collective (WCC). The idea of a place for women to speak is a good thing. She said she could not attend all the meetings regularly as she was in Mumbai. She said that she was a housewife for a long time. If women have a difficulty in a place where everyone is sitting together, we will be reluctant to say it.
Navya said that even if anyone misbehaves with her, she is still hesitant to say about it. She said that she has not reached the level of saying so. She said it is not a good thing. It is always better to talk openly. One should be able to say so.
It may be because of the circumstance you grew up, That stigma should change. Meantime, although they were stars in Malayalam films at the same time, Navya said that she and Kavya Madhavan are not friends personally.
