Malayalee musicians used to do cover versions of Western music. But it is not that often we see a cover version of a Malayalam song in foreign languages. But Indonesian singer Euis Desyana has given such a cover version to Parudeesa, a hit song from recently released Bheeshma Parvam directed by Amal Neerad and starring Mammootty.

The song was shot at the Punggur Surabi Corner Caffee in Pontianak in Indonesia. The BGM used in the original song is also used in the cover version. The song, sung by Desyana, also features brilliant acoustic guitars, trumpets and trombones. Desyana also uses Malayalam words from the original song for the cover version.

Bheeshma Parvam has turned out to be a major blockbuster with the movie breaking box office records. It is the third-fastest Malayalam film after Mohanlal-Prithviraj's Lucifer and Dulquer Salman's Kurup to collect Rs 50 crores. The movie has been a success not only in Kerala but all over the world. The release rights in Australia and New Zealand were sold for a record amount. Bheeshma Parvam is rumoured to have bagged the largest copyright ever for a Malayalam film.
